Operating in Heaven’s Economy vs the World’s Economy

What if I told you there's a divine design that defies the globe's economic instability, in a world where financial success frequently appears elusive? Can you picture an economy in which the act of giving comes before getting, and where the act of sowing ensures a harvest of blessings? Discover how to obtain what you need in life by operating in heaven's economic systems instead of the world's system by reading this blog.

Heaven operates on a principle of giving and receiving,  in contrast, the world’s economy operates on a buying and selling system.  In Heaven’s economy, giving, precedes receiving, much like the concept of seed time and harvest. By sowing seeds of generosity, such as tithing, supporting the poor, and blessing others, individuals can expect a harvest of blessings in return—a divine return on their spiritual investments. Consider the act of tithing or giving not merely as a financial transaction but as a sacred partnership with the divine, where the currency is love, compassion, and selflessness. Through these intentional acts of kindness, we become co-creators with the Almighty.

A foundational biblical principle supporting this is found in Genesis 8:22: "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease."

Sowing is one of God’s proven methods of providing financial abundance. Personally, I find joy in sowing, as it not only uplifts my spirit but also extends blessings to others when I sow into their lives. God utilizes us as vessels to assist others in our community. Our purpose extends beyond accumulating wealth solely for ourselves and our immediate families; rather, God blesses us with wealth to be a source of blessing to those around us.

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day

- Deuteronomy 8:18

By operating under Heaven’s economy, we find that we don’t have to labor so hard. In contrast, the world’s system often requires relentless effort to pursue financial prosperity. Have you ever wondered why wealth appears to be so elusive in this world? The world’s system is plagued and influenced by the power of Satan, a consequence of the fall in the Garden of Eden.

Consider God’s words to Adam in Genesis 3:17-19 (KJV): "And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

Because of this curse, anything that is attempted becomes difficult and is constantly met with resistance.

Choosing Heaven’s economy over the world’s is a superior choice, offering a guarantee of returns on your investment that is one hundred times better.

God's economy differs fundamentally from the world’s, necessitating that we be good stewards, tithe, give, avoid greed, and be content with what we have. Jesus emphasizes in Matthew 6:33 that when we prioritize seeking the kingdom of God, our needs are met without the need for constant striving. This encouragement invites us to rest in the finished work of Jesus.
